We Worship Together
Because God has made us and given us all that we have, we should respond by giving Him our best. We gather at 9:00 on the first morning of every week to praise Him in song, meet Him in prayer, remember His sacrifice by sharing the Lord's Supper, and hear Him speak through the reading and proclamation of His Word.
If you are unfamiliar with Churches of Christ in general, you may be unaware of some of our practices. Before being our guest, you might be interested to know that:
-
We are a non-instrumental church.
-
We share the Lord's Supper every Sunday morning. At a certain point in the service, the symbols of the Supper are passed for Christians to share in remembrance of Christ (see the Gospel of Matthew, 26:26-29).
-
We take up an offering each week, usually following the Lord's Supper. This is a time for our members to contribute to the work of the church, and we do not expect any visitors to participate.
-
Our worship service generally runs around an hour.
If you have any questions regarding worship, contact our church office. We'd love to have you join us this Sunday!
